sick dude

aren't you glad you got nexus and vengeance? haha. this song is hella good. the melody work is incredible as always and your drums are getting much better. The transitions were decent. The one at 1:30 could have been worked a little better like the person said before me, but other than that all i can say is good job. You've really improved. i love how it never gets repetitive at all... keep up the good work!

oh and if you get a chance, take a look at my new submissions. I put some demos up of songs that will hopefully be on my album.

Ya im soooo glad that i got them, they help so much. Ya some of the transitions need work but I kinda just got tired of workin on this song so I just decided to put it out how it was.
Ya I'll check out some of those demos, thanks for the review.

nubbinownz responds:

Yeah yeah!!! Just a random medly of unreleased and higher quality versions. Titled " At Least My Girlfriend Likes These Songs" Should be coming out sometime in september :D As always free download :D :D :D :D

yo pretty tight song...

i've been considering starting sampling-based hip-hop, but like they say "you're only as good as your samples." where do you get your samples? is there like some secret underground warehouse hidden deep in the depths of the internet that requires some special VIP access?... cause everyone i've talked to has been pretty hush-hush about it haha.

AeraDynamic responds:

pm on the waaay :D I guess we should have a talk sir!

Awesome

I was a little skeptical at first over your switch to ambient, but you've definitely gotten it down. I especially enjoyed those four note riffs that gave it a really upbeat feel. Very unique yet effective percussion... Keep up the good work! Still one of my favs

LiquidEcstacy responds:

Thank ya sirrr.

decent.

the trance airwaves that come in a little after a minute is really good, but as the person before me said before, it gets a little weird at parts mainly with the drums. u gotta turn down the ufckin compression on those kicks though. they hurt my ears and i dont even have my $200 sub turned on! its gotta sound more put together.

honestly i like the first one better, but they both have pros and cons. if there was a way to combine them, that would be legit. just something to think about.

Also, if you haven't checked out my two new releases, please do so. i'm trying some different genres and i need some feedback. keep up the good work bro!

Zafoe responds:

ok ill check em out thc for lettin me know

and i see thx for another review bro =}

wow...

dude this is good. i'm glad you informed me of this release. i love the intro, and the bassline is really strong. some things to consider: i'd choose a better snare sample and a better quality piano vst. also, this song has a great build up, but it needs a climax. other then that, good job man. this is some great stuff and i look forward to hearing more like this.

Zafoe responds:

thx for reviewing man

holy fuck

epic to the max

Dj-Noxid responds:

Epic = Ftw! haha thanks bro

that segaman is a fuckin faggot

this songs is legit dude. i love everything about this: the title, the beat, the melody, the choir layering... this stuff is golden.

that guy is so full of shit... probably isn't even a guy. he's probably some jealous little 10 year old sittin next to his computer, wackin off to hentai porn.

don't let anything get you down man. you got talent.

ps. i'm workin on a hip hop beat of my own (i like to experiment with genres) and i was just wondering where you get your drum samples becaue you can only get so far with the FL studio basic crap. send me a pm or somethin, cause i'd love to talk to you about making hip hop.

Druids-Warcry responds:

thanks man, keep it up i dig your music. got a lot of cool shit going on. really man keep at it. thanks for the support and keep at it

dude...

damn. fuckin epic to the max. this shit rivals war-spawn. keep up the good work man. props

-KDUB-

DJ-Delinquent responds:

WarSpawn basicaly rivals all DJs

We had an argument about this over AIM

The DJ vs Producer

Of course Im DJ all the fucking way dawg

DJ FTMFW ^_^

But yeah im not tryng to see war spawn in any type of war

he has a diffrent approach to certain things

Certain things he and i cant agree on

so the diffrences of preferences will definetly cripple a battle between him and I

dude!

love the melodies and the the development is incredible. The climax toward the end was well done.

some things to consider:

-your piano soundfont is a little wack lol. i thought you got nexus? nevertheless, to make pianos sound better, you gotta add reverb and/or delay. hit me up and i'll show you how to do this.

-another thing, your percussion gets lost under all the melodies. for trance, the kick, the offbeat hat, and the snare/clap are essential. i recommend the vengeance club sounds. you don't have to do too much mastering to make them sound professional.

great song, but could be 100000x better with a more pronounced drum sequence and better piano.

Ephemeral-DFP responds:

Thanks dude, ya i still have a long way till my stuff is good,
the review helps ill get working on everything and making my stuff better.
