its a pretty good start, but to be utterly honest with you, you need a melody. as much as you're reluctant to add one, i really believe that it would make the song come together as a whole. it seems a little scattered. you have a whole bunch of great peaces, but it isn't put together totally. build off of the part at 2:39, and you'll have an amazing song. sorry for all the critism, but i think i speak for many when i say its that extra step that will sell our vote as a 5 rather than a 4 or lower. good work though. keep it up :D
